Elf Lyons is an award-winning red-hatted comedian and clown from London.

In 2017 her solo show SWAN at the Edinburgh Fringe was nominated for the Best Show Award. Elf was also nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality. She has performed all around the world at leading arts festivals in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Known for her distinctive style on stage Elf loves creating work that is relevant, political and joyful. She mixes her vulnerabilities, her obscure geeky knowledge and her sass to create fun, action packed quests for her and the audience, often resulting in a huge fun mess on stage

“A fast talking, smart-thinking standup for whom the adjective “kooky” could have been invented for.” The Guardian

“This is comedy as enchantment, a show so beguiling that you don’t just love it, you somehow fall in love with it.” The Scotsman

“Her latest show, Swan, takes the Tchaikovsky classic Swan Lake and turns it into something no one has ever seen before. Given the opportunity to showcase her triple threat talents for dancing, singing and acting, this is a fantastic comedic success.” Edinburgh Festival Magazine

“The most wonderful stand-up comedian I have seen this year.” Young Perspective

“Hysterical tour de force” Three Weeks

“We would pay top dollar to see the warped mind of Elf Lyons let loose at the Royal Opera House on a grand scale – until then, we’ll make do with this hour of madcap mayhem which is exhaustingly funny.” To Do List
