How do we discover what home means when we feel like we never fully fit in anywhere?

Between 2006 and 2015, Amy moved to London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Prague, Buenos Aires, and Seoul, and travelled to over 30 countries on 5 continents. Eager to move beyond her suburban life in the US, Amy watches sunrises over the Himalayas, gets stuck in Argentine farmer strikes, narrowly dodges a tram in Prague, and sets foot on the remnants of the transatlantic slave trade in Senegal. But when sudden events force her to return to the US, she begins to navigate a more personal and emotional terrain, compelling her to reflect on her identities as an American, transracial adoptee, artist, and woman of color, as she seeks to define what home really is.

Ginther adeptly embraces her characters with heartfelt conviction, shifting the audience from empathy-laden sadness to laughter with ease. (The Korea Herald)
Although deeply personal and specific to her own remarkable biography, Homeful provides powerful and compelling insight into a struggle that is unique to no one: the lifelong attempt to know ourselves. (Michael Chemers, Author of Ghost Light and Staging Stigma)
