Multi award-winning production company BIGHEAD Comedy returns with the fourth edition of Early Days, their mini-festival filled with early development projects from some of the country's most exciting new comics! Previous editions have included early previews from artists such as Sam Eley is Basil Crumbwick, Harriet Richardson, Ele McKenzie and many more.
Join us for three nights of two acts doing something potentially wild and definitely brand new that they're hoping to develop into massive new projects.
Our final night of this year’s proceedings features the first steps of a new show from BIGHEAD Comedy favourite Cabbage The Clown, whose debut show toured the UK including two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and two at Soho Theatre, garnering critical acclaim for this “gen-z, loudly queer and thoroughly hilarious” (Binge Fringe) multimedia drag star. They’ll be joined by Maia Tassalini presenting the first ideas for the follow up to her “frankly exceptional debut” (British Comedy Guide) that was nominated for NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy.
We encourage patrons to wear a mask while moving around the building and when seated in the theatre.
Seating is not socially distanced. The theatre is ventilated before and after every performance with regular and thorough cleaning of touch points. Hand sanitiser and face masks are available onsite.
