LOOK FOR THE WOMAN

Finding Melania

A twisted dark comedy about the fascination and lure of masculine power and the women who submit all.

First Lady. Third Wife. 42% approval rating.

Melania – once an enigmatic beauty, now pretty much forgotten – is discovered years later living deep in the bowels of the White House. Holding on to her husband’s belief that they will one day return and Make It All Great Again, she welcomes an Audience with Melania to live out her memories, dreams and fantasies.

Finding Melania is a solo show, a twisted dark comedy about the fascination and lure of masculine power and the women who submit all. Merging dark clowning, surreal visual landscapes, and absurd comedy to explore the grotesque behind the glamorous facade of Melania Trump. Directed by Sarah Calver.

“One of the most amiably interactive shows, delivered with a lot of skill and thought through tightly constructed scenes and sharp improvisations.”
★★★★ The Scotsman
“She’s a strangely compelling presence, whether lovingly stroking the walls of the tiny room in which she’s performing or barking commands at the audience.”
