Pieces of Us

Five tales of grief, hope, & love in a divided America.

Fresh from its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023, critically-acclaimed PIECES OF US is coming home to the Rosemary Branch Theatre, where this show was developed.

An American artist moves through the stages of grief by speaking to 5 of her fellow citizens about their personal, regional, historical experiences of loss in an attempt to make meaning of her own.

In this meta-style, verbatim-inspired, socio-political show, PIECES OF US asks the audience if –in a Western, capitalist, individualist, & politically polarised society where profit, consumption & productivity are valued most– would making room for the universal experiences of loss, hardship, & grief in our culture make for a more peaceful, equitable, & compassionate society?
