WORK IN PROGRESS
Same River Twice
Same River Twice reimagines the Hades and Persephone story within an intimate, contemporary setting where desire, power and identity are constantly shifting.
Playful, seductive and mysterious, the piece explores choice, surrender and freedom, probing the narratives we inherit and the selves we construct. Moving between ancient memory and modern consciousness, it charts a journey of transformation that becomes an act of remembering-and reclaiming-what has always been true.
Presented as a Work in Progress ahead of a full summer run, these performances invite audiences into an evolving theatrical landscape where philosophy, embodiment and timelessness meet.
Same River Twice is both a play and a spoken-word poem.
