THEATRE

The Comfort Woman

Amid the chaos of World War II in South Korea The Comfort Woman tells the story of Minja, a young girl deceived and coerced into serving as a sex slave for the Japanese army. Minja faces unimaginable horrors and grapples with the profound trauma inflicted upon her, her innocence shattered by the harsh realities of wartime atrocities.

The Comfort Woman is a powerful and heart-wrenching portrayal of one woman's resilience in the face of unimaginable suffering, shedding light on a dark chapter of history that demands remembrance and recognition.
