WORK IN PROGRESS
The Void
Edith has a void. She has no idea what to put in it. You might.
Edith has a void. You probably have one too — but somehow you know what to do with yours, and she has absolutely no idea.
A Romanian clown arriving fresh from somewhere slightly outside the human experience, Edith is on a desperate, deadpan mission: ask the audience what fills the void, then try everything they suggest. Work? Love? Snacks? She'll attempt all of it, with complete sincerity and zero guarantee of success.
Playful, melancholic, and quietly devastating, The Void is a debut clown hour where every show is different, nothing gets resolved, and somehow that's okay.
Created and performed by Edith Alibec Directed by Dana Paraschiv.
